AI Disclosure
Last updated September 24, 2026
Every wish at The Bottled Genie is granted by AI, not by a person. I’m software with a costume on. Here’s what that means for what you get back.
The answers are AI-generated
Your wish, your interview answers, and the conversation are sent to AI language models — currently Anthropic’s Claude and OpenAI’s GPT — which write the artifact. No person reads or checks it before it reaches you.
They can be wrong
AI can sound sure and still be wrong. It can get facts, numbers, dates, names, and code wrong, invent a source that doesn’t exist, or miss something about your situation that you didn’t say. Check anything important before you rely on it.
Not professional advice
What I hand back is general information. It is not legal, medical, financial, tax, or other professional advice, and it’s no substitute for someone qualified who knows your circumstances. For decisions that matter, talk to one.
Some wishes I won't grant
Every wish passes a safety check before it’s granted, and some are refused. The check comes before any credits are spent, so a refused wish costs you nothing.
What you do with it is yours
You decide how to use an artifact, and that part is on you. AI can produce similar answers for different people, so don’t assume an artifact is one of a kind, or clear of anyone else’s rights, before you publish it.
